Officially we created Cinematica Studio back in the summer of 2024. But it goes way back. 

Alexander (Gen Y), the managing partner of Cinematica started playing with photography and videography back in 2007. He has been working in various media companies in Bulgaria for more than 16 years and through that time he learned how to follow the whole process of content creation, back when that was not even a term. From building a website, through creating its information architecture and page content, to creating the best visuals. 

Alexander is the founder of the first Bulgarian digital travel video platform – “Bulgaria na dlan” (Bulgaria at the palm of your hand). It started back in 2018 and ever since it has been a leading video content channel, part of the Webground Media Group. 

Konstantin (Gen Z), the other half of Cinematica Studio began as junior videographer in 2022, then working with Alexander for another company. 

So in the summer of 2024 both Alexander and Konstantin decided what a lot of people have done in their lives – it is time to start working for ourselves. Moreover, they moved out of Sofia, Bulgaria’s capital, to Veliko Tarnovo – an old and picturesque city in the heart of the country. 

Since then the question that remains is “Can two people create a working video business in a place that is relatively far from the economical centre of the country?” So far, the answer is “Yes, 100%!”
